Affinity analysis
Find out which SKUs are often ordered together, so you can store them close to each other and shorten every pick walk.
What it does
Some SKUs nearly always travel together in the same order. Affinity analysis counts how often each pair of SKUs appears on the same order, and shows the strongest pairs first.
Use it to decide which SKUs to put side by side, to plan zones, and to check that a move will not split up SKUs that belong together.

A worked example
Four orders and the SKUs on them:
