A warehouse receives goods, stores them safely and sends them out again when a customer orders. Most of the work falls into four steps: receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch.
Receiving
Check what arrives against what was ordered, and record any shortages or damage straight away.
Put-away
Move each item to a storage location that suits its size, weight and how often it is picked.
